The Northern Virginia Graduate Chapter of Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship, Inc was chartered on July 20th, 1996, by the National Conclave of Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship, Inc in Virginia Beach, VA. As an affiliate chapter of the national organization, the NOVA Graduate Chapter was formed to help perpetuate the Felloship’s purpose and mission within the Northern Virginia community.

In support of the Fellowship’s purpose, the NOVA Graduate Chapter supports many community service activities, including but not limited to, youth mentoring, presenting scholarship awards, serving as volunteers to other not-for-profit organizations, volunteering in programs that benefit the homeless, and a variety of other community service endeavors. In addition, the Chapter conducts social events aimed at encouraging a spirit of brotherhood, fellowship and family participation
